Responsibilities:
Work with customers & Process Integration group on the introduction of new products in the production line.
Ensure that project meets critical milestone targets.
Ensure on time delivery of new prototype meeting customer expectations & requirements.
Responsible for the development and characterization of new process recipes and materials.
Perform feasibility assessment of new products, identify gaps & new tools/ materials requirement, validate design rules, understand capacity impact and perform cost & ROI analysis.
Provide cost effective technical solutions optimizing existing fab resources and propose to management & customer.
Work with customer/supplier on the new tool/material configuration and specification.
Work with the supplier on the installation and qualification of the new tool
Understand customer product specifications and translate to manufacturing line input & output monitoring parameters.
Work with customer to establish input & output parameters success criteria for each of the critical steps.
Develop and characterize the recipes according to the success criteria with proper margin check.
Design and perform DOE to validate process robustness.
Able to use Statistical software analysis tool such as JMP, Klarity ACE to analyze experiment data and provide engineering proposal.
Analyze data from passed down to identify chronic process issues, establish improvement programs to resolve them
Ensure new process or recipe is design for manufacturing with minimum manufacturing constraints.
Establish finger printing for each new process recipes with proper documentation.
Establish proper FMEA & control plan for the new product and ensure proper implementation in the production line
Provide technical assistance to the line AEs & technicians, train and mentor new engineers, AEs and technicians.
Able to take on leadership role to drive a small cross functional task team to address yield improvement / excursion issues
Facilitate / initiate CIP programs to optimize process window, cost, yield, and productivity
Work as a team with both Equipment and Mfg Engineers to meet manufacturing objectives
Establish plans and strategies to optimize process capability to meet operational requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in electrical / electronic / Mechanical / Microelectronics / Chemical Process / Chemistry / Physics
5- 7 years of working experience in electrical / electronics industry preferably with MEMS manufacturing background
Perform 12-hour rotating shift (as required)
